The Spice M5500 Transformer handset comes with with two removale panels options and can be converted in to bar or PDA styles as per the user preference. The Spice M5500 can provide a full touch UI and a touch UI with aplha-numeric keypad.Spice mobility , the company which pioneered dual SIM mobile phones in India, has launched a phone which is both a normal bar phone with keypad and touch phone. Named as M-5500 Transformer phone, this phone works in both forms- touch phone or keypad phone. The company has tied up with the latest blockbuster Transformer 3- dark of the moon team and has preloaded movie content like videos, wallpaper and have Auto bot logo embedded on the back panel.
Similar to the sci-fi technology of the Autobots in the movie, the phone too transforms from a bar phone with keypad to a touch phone. The keypad comes as an attachment which can be removed to make it touch phone.
