MTNL announced its Friend & Family plan for its Mobile Customers in Delhi. Customer availing MTNL’s Friend & Family plan will be enabled to add five Mobile or Landline numbers of MTNL. The customer will be charged reduced call rate of 10 paisa per minute for making calls on these five numbers. The subscription charges for availing Friend & Family plan is Rs 50 per month, and customer is allowed for five free addition or modifiations in Friend & Family list. Addition or modification charge per number beyond 5 times is Rs 10 which we feel is much more costlier. This plan will help MTNL to control it wireline (Landline) surrender rate by encouraging customers to retain their basic numbers.
