Apple releasing the iPad HD

Be it the iPhone 4S or the iPhone 5, the rumors of the next iPhone are incessant. Everyday there’s something new. We even heard rumors today about the iPhone 6 and the potentil for Apple to drop the dock connector port. But what about the other extremely popular Apple iOS device: the iPad? Don’t worry, the rumor mill hasn’t left this trendy tablet out of the buzz. News of a new iPad hit today, which may mean the iPad 2 is getting a companion.
Apparently the iPad wouldn’t be a replacement for the iPad 2, but instead, would be a higher-end (and more expensive) model called the iPad HD. Similar to how the MacBook has a MacBook Pro option, both devices are quality, but the MacBook Pro is used more for high-end photo and video editing purposes, and the MacBook is more of a general-purpose laptop. The iPad 2 would be the MacBook in this case and would be suited for the Average Joe. The iPad HD, however, would be for the serious iPad user and is said to feature a 2,048×1,536 resolution screen.
